Lamborghini announces the 2022 Real Race winners
The Grand Final of Lamborghini’s “2022 Real Race” sim-racing competition recently brought together gamers from all over the world to crown three champions.
Organised on the Assetto Corsa Competizione platform, this brand-new format of Lamborghini’s exciting esport competition attracted no less than 2,751 participants. All of them had the chance to drive Lamborghini’s exclusive, one-make racing model, the new Huracan Super Trofeo Evo2, and compete against gamers from around the world for the prize pool.
After a series of intense qualifiers and heats, the best drivers met in the Grand Final to race for the competition’s three regional crowns. And the winners were:
● Niklas Houben for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa),
● Renan Negrini for NALA (North America and Latin America), and
● Lukas Birss for APAC (Asia Pacific).
These three winners will now face off for the ultimate prize of becoming an official Lamborghini Esports driver alongside Giorgio Simonini, Gianfranco Giglioli and the winner of the second edition of The Real Race, Jordan Sherratt.
Renan Negrini, winner of the NALA region, expressed his excitement, saying: “It’s really amazing to win! I trained so hard to win this competition and I made it! I can’t explain how happy I am!”
