Huracán EVO “Amplified Series”: Connecting Man and Machine

24 April 2019

The new HMI, Human-Machine Interface, is the ultimate expression of the EVO’s natural and technological evolution. The central tunnel features an 8.4” multi-touch capacitive screen to control all driving dynamics, manage entertainment functions, receive real-time information on traffic and adapt the cockpit lights to the current driving mode. This advanced connectivity, never seen before on a Huracán, also features two cameras to further improve your driving skills on track. Adrenaline rush and HMI: what does all this remind you of?

For us, this is comparable to what happens while piloting a drone, as we can hear in the words of Jordan "JET" Temkin in the third episode of the “Amplified Series”. Jordan is a 27-year-old double DRL Allianz World Champion who won the coveted drone racing title in both 2016 and 2017. He continued to dominate in 2018 with consistent flying and careful racing strategy, and earned a spot in the finale. The Drone Racing League (DRL) is the global, professional drone racing circuit for elite pilots like Jordan who, with custom built racing drones traveling at speeds above 90 MPH, experience the most intense ‘driving’ sensations. Maybe they could have a chat with Lamborghini Squadra Corse for a job swap…
